Canadian Jen posts a picture, then Scottish Carol posts a picture of the same thing (only Scottish). Then Carol posts a pic of something else, then Jen posts a pic of the same thing (only Canadian). And one day, with luck, we'll have a photo blog that compares Burlington, Ontario, Canada with Edinburgh, Scotland in some interesting way.

Jen, I meant to tell you that I have a wee stash of photos now so hopefully my response time should improve dramatically. :)
oh what an interesting blog this seemsto be - I'll have to bookmark you and come back for another look.
Hi Gerald! Good to see you visiting. I'm not sure if you remember but I'm Carol who used to have the Glasgoe DP blog. I'd love to get it back up and running but still check everyone elses regularly. Keep up the good work!

Ah finally some new stuff. Why are the traffic lights so short?
Hi again - yes of course I remember. I am in the process of re-doing the tags on older posts and found one of your comments - on checking your profile discovered that this blog was still active.
I'm working on it. BTW: What's a bollard?
A bollard is that object at the front of the photo - white and yellow with a blue arrow thing on it. Basically it acts as a block to stop traffic going a certain way. :) I've no idea what you guys call 'em. They're usually found on traffic islands. :)
I guess we have something like that, though it never occured to me to call them anything.
