Fire Engine - Glasgow, Scotland

Here's a Strathclyde Fire Brigade fire enginen responding to a 999 emergency call. Actually, it was a false alarm at my office, but still. Lights flashing, sirens blaring... No parade for these guys! Is it just my imagination or do fire engines in Burlington seem longer than in Glasgow?

Yeah, your fire truck looks a bit short. And what's a 999 emergency? Here we dial 911.

Your 911 is our 999 lol. That's for Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance.

Ha! Fire brigade? As in "Her Majesty's Royal Fire Brigade"? We just have Fire Departments.
